I have always loved flowers! I adore the variety of colour, scent, texture and form found in flowers and the countless gorgeous combinations you can create with them.

After several years studying at degree level, then a career in Business  Administration, I returned to my first love of flowers and studied Floristry full time at college, gaining a distinction in floral design.

Initially I worked in the wholesale flower trade before managing a busy city centre florist for a number of years. After I relocated to the New Forest, I focused on event floristry, creating designs for weddings, parties and sympathy tributes.

I passionately believe that working with flowers is a positive and joyful experience. It doesn't matter if the flowers are a beautifully presented gift bouquet, a few choice stems cut from the garden, blooms purchased from a florist, or a bouquet with the weekly food shop, there are tips and hints that can enhance them all.

I want to share the joy of working with flowers with everyone and pass on the knowledge and skills I have developed over the past 20 years to help everyone get the most from their flowers. Informal workshops in a relaxed environment are the perfect way to do this.
